Rattlers fall to Aggies on Day 3 of College Classic

SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's fell to Cameron, 4-1 on Day 3 of the College Classic on Saturday afternoon.
 
Despite scoring the first run of the ballgame off an RBI single from Raynelle Nash in the third inning, the Rattlers were held scoreless the rest of the way as the Aggies would strike for four-unanswered runs.
 
She would finish the game with a 2-for-3 at the plate while Staci Johns collected the only extra base hit with a double.
 
Hannah Michel, Brenda Iparraguirre and Taylor Germain were the only other Rattlers to record a hit against a strong pitching performance.
 
The Rattlers will look to finish the weekend strong tomorrow when they host Eastern New Mexico and Tarleton State, beginning at 10 a.m.
