Second half outburst highlights Rattler victory

SAN ANTONIO — Despite muddy field conditions, two goals from Pato Botello Faz led St. Mary's to a 4-0 victory over Texas-Permain Basin on Thursday.
 
The senior opened the scoring with a penalty kick goal in the 48th minute. Less than three minutes later, Ollie Wright got in on the scoring to make it 2-0.
 
In the 70th minute, Botello once again found the back of the net, this time off an assist from Enrique Saavedra who would later connect with Aidan Henry for his second assist of the night.
 
St. Mary's outshot the Falcons 19-8 in the match as Jacob Sayle picked up the clean sheet, recording five saves in the match.
 
Saturday, the Rattlers will host Lubbock Christian at 1 p.m.
