Narvaez scores in loss to Lady Chaps

SAN ANTONIO — A late goal from Miranda Narvaez wouldn't be enough as St. Mary's fell to Lubbock Christian 3-1 on Saturday at Sigma Beta Chi Field.
 
Outshot 9-1 in the opening frame, the Rattlers struggled offensively throughout, withstanding an onslaught from the Lady Chap offense.
 
Alexia Maldonado, Leah Whitaker, Natalie Rodriguez and Lauren Mlouhi were the only other Rattlers to register a shot against the Lady Chap defense.
 
The Rattlers will return to the pitch on Thursday when they hit the road to face Newman at 5 p.m.
