Rattlers end Lindenwood Last Minute Challenge with victory

ST. CHARLES, Missouri — Rattler Volleyball split its final two matches of the Lindenwood Last Minute Challenge on Saturday.
 
St. Mary's capped the weekend with a straight-set victory over Bridgeport, led by Channing Hankins who posted 16 kills. Bree Perry once again filled the statsheet with 19 assists while Tarine Grace and Jaycie Pluenneke accounted for four blocks apiece.
 
Monica Ramon added 13 digs as the Rattlers ended a four-match losing skid.
 
Earlier in the day, the Rattlers took on No. 9 Augustana, taking a set from the Vikings, losing 3-1 despite 16 kills from Hankins and 22 assists from Perry. Mandee Eberle added 12 digs as the Rattlers took the third set.
 
Next for the Rattlers will be a match on the road against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.
