Women's, Men's Tennis national-tournament opponents set

SAN ANTONIO — The NCAA Division II national championships bracket is set for St. Mary's Women's and Men's Tennis. 

The men will open Round of 16 play against No. 23 Southwest Baptist at 3 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, May 9, at the Sanlando Park Tennis Center in Altamonte Springs, Florida. 

A day later, the women will begin Round of 16 play, taking on No. 6 Hawaii Pacific at 7 a.m. (CT) Wednesday, May 10, at the same location. 

The St. Mary's men, ranked No. 20 in the nation, are making their first-ever national-tournament appearance as the higher-ranked team in their opening-round matchup. The Rattler women are making their fourth consecutive trip to the national championships tournament, where last season they advanced to the Final Eight. 

The St. Mary's women are 19-2 on the season, while the men are 18-6.
