Rattlers complete sweep of Aggies

SAN ANTONIO — With an 11-2 victory over the Oklahoma Panhandle State Aggies, the St. Mary's Rattlers completed the three-game sweep, moving back to .500 on the season.
 
The Rattlers' offense exploded for 11 runs as they backed a strong outing from Hayden Hibler who tossed six complete innings allowing two runs, both of which unearned, on five hits while striking out six.
 
James Gillean, Bryan Ramirez, Jack Kaiser and Beau Barnes finished with a pair of hits apiece. Gillean added two runs scored and an RBI while Ramirez posted a pair of RBI and a run scored.
 
All nine Rattler starters registered a hit in the game including Donnie Perez, Jacob Aguilar, Zach Johnson, Jonathan Ramirez and Bryce Brandl.
 
St. Mary's accounted for 13 hits in the ballgame as they improved to 13-5 in conference play. Next Tuesday, the Rattlers will host Houston-Victoria for a single game starting at 6 p.m.
