Snakes fall to #7 Angelo State

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Following its sweep of St. Edward's on the road a week ago, the St. Mary's Rattlers visited No. 7 Angelo State, falling to the Rams 10-1 on Tuesday night.
 
The Rattlers could not climb out of an early deficit, after the Rams scored five unanswered to start the game.
 
An RBI single from Jack Kaiser scored James Gillean for the team's lone run of the ballgame as the Rattlers were held to only three hits.
 
Kaiser would finish 1-for-4 at the plate while Gillean notched a pair of hits and a walk for the game.
 
St. Mary's will return home and resume Heartland Conference play when it hosts Oklahoma Panhandle State beginning with a doubleheader on Thursday starting at 1 p.m.
