SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's Baseball returned to the win column Sunday afternoon with a 13-0 victory in seven innings over the Houston-Victoria Jaguars at Dickson Stadium.

Holden Grounds picked up his first win of the season as he tallied 10 strikeouts in a complete game two-hit shutout.

He was backed by a strong performance from the Rattler offense, spearheaded by Bryan Ramirez who went 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of runs scored and two RBI.

Another key contributor was Jacob Arevelo who went 3-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and three runs scored.

A Jack Kaiser single began the scoring for the Rattlers in the bottom of the first. In the third, a Beau Barnes RBI double sparked a four-run inning for the home team.

Then in the fifth, the Rattlers put the game out of reach for good, exploding for seven runs, highlighted by a 2-RBI single from Bryan Ramirez.
