#9 Women's Tennis comes back against #21 MSU to win 6th straight

SOUTHLAKE, Texas — The Lady Rattlers keep winning, taking out No. 21-ranked Midwestern State, 7-2. 

No. 9 St. Mary's got off to a rough start after dropping lines 2 and 3 doubles. Kaylin Kruseman and Tyra Timm led the way for the Lady Rattlers, winning 8-4 at No. 1 to give St. Mary's its first point and a 2-1 deficit heading into singles. 

Kruseman and Timm showed no signs of slowing down in singles, with both dominating their lines 6-1, 6-1.  

Looking for redemption came the rest of the Lady Rattlers (6-0). Camille Clausse-Pujo won 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1, followed shortly by Sindhu Ravula, who clinched the match for the first time in her college career winning 6-3, 6-4 at No. 6.

The Lady Rattlers were not done yet with Ally Maciel and Mariela Sarinana still battling it out. Maciel dug deep to pull of a three-set victory, winning 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 at No. 3.

Left to bring it home was Sarinana, who showed no signs of slowing down and fought her way back to win, 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) at No. 5. 

St. Mary's will close out the weekend with a match Sunday morning at 10 a.m. against No. 22 Academy of Art.
