#9 Women's Tennis impressive in 7-2 triumph over #17 Cameron

SOUTHLAKE, Texas — The Lady Rattlers continue an undefeated season as they took down Cameron, 7-2, on Friday. 

St. Mary's Women's Tennis battled with Cameron for the doubles sweep, 2-1, with line 1 Kaylin Kruseman and Tyra Timm leading the way winning 8-4, followed shortly by line 3 Ally Maciel and Sindhu Ravula coming out on top with an 8-3 win. 

Back at it again, and well known for her three-set victories, Camille Clausse-Pujo's eagerness to win led her to a 6-2, 5-7, 10-4 victory over Cameron. 

Following her fighting spirit came Timm, who clawed her way to victory in an epic battle, winning 7-5, 5-7, 10-8. 

Maicel at No. 3 (6-3, 6-1), Ravula at No. 6 (6-3,6-0) and Sarinana No. 5 (6-3, 6-2) all came out victorious as well.

To put the icing on the cake, the Lady Rattlers learned earlier in the day that they moved up to No. 9 in the nation from their previous ranking of 10.

St. Mary's will be back in action Saturday, when they take on Midwestern State in Southlake.
