@StMUWBB host No. 1 ranked Ashland in Thanksgiving Classic finale

SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's hosted Ashland in the finale of the 2017 Thanksgiving Classic on Saturday at Bill Greehey Arena.
 
The Rattlers fell to the No. 1 team in the country, 87-51, despite 14 points apiece from Arysia Porter and Audrey Wandji.
 
Facing constant pressure from the Eagles defense, Porter would finish the game shooting 6-of-7 from the field while adding four assists and three boards.
 
Hannah Wilson posted six points, three boards and two assists while Kealani Marquez added six points of her own and grabbing six boards.
 
Up next for the Rattlers will be the Texas A&M International Classic beginning on Thursday when they face Huston-Tillotson at 1 p.m. in Laredo.
