@StMUvolleyball downs Lady Chaps to push win-streak to seven

LUBBOCK, Texas — In a rematch of a 5-set thriller back on Sept. 28 in San Antonio, the St. Mary's Rattlers and Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps went the distance again as the Rattlers won 3-2 on Thursday night.

Channing Hankins once again set the tone for the Rattlers offensively as she posted a match-high 17 kills while Bree Perry recorded a season-high 67 assists.

Monica Ramon added four aces to her 18 digs as Mandee Eberle produced an impressive statline with 15 kills, three blocks and 19 digs.

Jaycie Pluenneke was a force at the net racking up a match-high eight blocks to go along with her 15 kills.

With the victory, the Rattlers not only claim their seventh victory in a row, but they also complete a season sweep of the Lady Chaps, maintaining their position in second place in the conference.

This sets up confrontation between the Rattlers and the top team in the conference, UAFS, next week.
