Rattlers hang tough in loss to Hillcats

SAN ANTONIO — Senior Day did not end the way that the St. Mary's Rattlers had hoped, dropping its match against Rogers State 1-0 on Saturday.
 
Despite being outshot 14-10, the Rattlers managed to place half of their shots on goal. The senior tandem of Kaitlyn Judge and Roxy Cruz Santory posted a shot on goal each.
 
Fellow senior Caitlin McCarrell played a solid match in goal, her first in over a month, as she recorded five saves.
 
Next week, the Rattlers will conclude the season at home with a pair of conference matches, beginning with DBU on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
