Rattlers win fourth-straight match, top DBU in four sets

SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's picked up its 12th victory of the season, defeating DBU 3-1 on Thursday night at Bill Greehey Arena.
 
On Dig Pink Night, the Rattlers improved their record to 12-9 and 5-2 in Heartland play after a strong performance at home over the Patriots.
 
Bree Perry set the tone for the Rattlers with a season-high 53 assists while Channing Hankins followed her 12 kill performance with a 14 kill match against DBU with a .400 hitting percentage.
 
Tarine Grace added 12 kills of her own while Mandee Eberle filled the stat sheet with 13 kills and 17 digs. Monica Ramon led the team with 20 digs.
 
Next for the Rattlers, they will host St. Edward's in a Battle of the Saints on Senior Day at noon.
