Overtime magic eludes Rattlers in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, Texas — A tough overtime loss on the road capped a tough week for the St. Mary's Rattlers as it fell to Lubbock Christian 1-0 in double overtime.
 
Half of St. Mary's victories this season have come in bonus time, entering the Saturday's match with a 3-0-1 record in matches that reached overtime.
 
The lone shot of the match for the Rattlers came courtesy of Olivia Bachelet in the second half. Erin Longford recorded a pair of saves in a losing effort.
 
Next for the Rattlers will wrap-up the season with a four-match homestand beginning with a match under the lights against Newman.
