Etheridge’s monster night makes it five-straight for @StMUWBB

FORT SMITH, Ark. — Playing in all 40 minutes, Kiara Etheridge led the St. Mary's Rattlers to its fifth straight victory Thursday, defeating the UA Fort Smith Lions 84-66 at Stubblefield Center.
 
Etheridge's double-double set the tone for the Rattlers as she finished with a game-high 28 points and 14 rebounds.
 
The Rattlers improve to 16-3 overall and 8-1 in conference following a strong finish to each half as they outscored the Lions 17-9 in the second quarter and 24-14 in the fourth.
 
LaBraile Fields and Arysia Porter provided key contributions in the victory with Fields scoring 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting and Porter recording 19 points and four assists. Off the bench, Sierra Dixon tallied 12 points and five rebounds, providing an added boost to the Rattler offense.
 
St. Mary's will travel to Rogers State on Saturday, seeking its sixth straight victory, with tipoff at 1 p.m.
