Moore, defense help Men's Soccer earn scoreless draw against OC

OKLAHOMA CITY — St. Mary's Men's Soccer played Oklahoma Christian to a 0-0 scoreless draw on Thursday, earning their first draw in Heartland Conference play this season. 

Jack Moore maintained a clean sheet in the net for the Rattlers (2-4-2, 1-3-1) despite facing an onslaught of shots from the Eagles (2-6-1, 0-4-1). Moore faced 23 shots, saving eight, as the Rattlers were outshot 23-9.  

John-Michael Villarreal led the Rattlers with two shot attempts, with one coming on goal. St. Mary's had five shots on goal in the game. 

The Rattlers will head to Wichita Falls, Texas to take on Midwestern State at 1 p.m. Saturday.
