Road woes continue for Rattlers

LUBBOCK, Texas — The St. Mary's Rattlers could not find answers against Lubbock Christian as they suffered a 87-38 loss to the Chaperals at the Rip Griffin Center on Thursday night.
 
Unable to establish a rhythm early, the Rattlers were held to 32 percent shooting in the opening half as the Chaps jumped out to the lead.
 
Kriston Minor led the Rattlers with eight points while adding a rebound and a steal as Yanni Wetzell and Skyler Brooks scored seven points apiece, grabbing four boards each.
 
Off the bench, Stefan Wright and Hudson McAshan each tallied four points and three rebounds.
 
The Rattlers will look to bounce back as they seek to punch their ticket to Tulsa, Okla. for the Heartland Conference Tournament on Saturday when they visit Oklahoma Panhandle State.
