Rattlers outdueled by Lions at home

SAN ANTONIO — Despite Yanni Wetzell posting a game-high 15 points against UA Fort Smith on Monday, the Rattlers fell 73-60.
 
St. Mary's (2-9, 0-2) had no answer for the Lions' offense which shot a blazing 85 percent from the field in the second half.
 
In his first start in over a month, Ed Seay posted an efficient 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field in 15 minutes. Seay, was the beneficiary of a number of assists from Will Ferguson who finished the game with 11 points and four assists.
 
Robbie Benavidez provided his usual proficiency from behind the arc, going a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point range for nine points.
 
The Rattlers will look to bounce back when they host Lubbock Christian in their next game on New Year's Eve.
