EL PASO, Texas — The St. Mary's Women's Basketball Team concluded its preseason against Division I member, University of Texas at El Paso, falling 54-72 on Saturday at the Don Haskins Center.
 
Senior forward Kiara Etheridge fell three boards shy of a double-double with 10 points and seven rebounds.
 
Tyra Cormier was the high-scorer for the Rattlers with 14 points on 5-6 shooting, while LaBraile Fields filled the stat sheet with 13 points, eight rebounds, four steals and three assists.
 
St. Mary's will begin its season against Cameron on Nov. 11 at the Tarleton State Classic.
