Rattler offense stalls against Cameron

WICHITA FALLS, Texas — On Day 1 of the Patterson Auto Group Classic, the offense of the St. Mary's Rattlers was halted in a 60-45 loss against the Cameron Aggies.
 
Entering Friday's game, the Rattlers averaged over 81 points in each of their first three games of the season.
 
After being held to only 17 first half points, the Rattler defense spurred a 19-4 run to begin the second half, pushing them ahead by four with under 10 minutes to play. Cameron would respond by ending the game on a 28-9 run.
 
St. Mary's was led by Skyler Brooks' 10 points and six rebounds on 4-of-9 shooting while Yanni Wetzell added four points while grabbing 10 boards, seven of which came on the offensive end.
 
Freddie Williams added nine points as Ed Seay and Will Ferguson posted eight points apiece.
 
The Rattlers will play against host Midwestern State tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the finale of the Patterson Auto Group Classic.
