LAREDO, Texas — After dropping each of its last three matches, the St. Mary's Rattlers bounced back with a 1-0 conference victory over Texas A&M International at the TAMIU Soccer Complex Saturday afternoon.

The Rattlers (6-3-2, 4-2-2) struck early in the match with a goal from Leah Whitaker in the 23rd minute. Whitaker's goal, the first of her career, came on an assist from Shea Dinsmore.

Outshooting the Dustdevils 22-6, the Rattlers placed eight shots on frame. Whitaker led the Rattlers by placing three of her six shots on goal while junior Roxy Cruz Santory placed two of her four shots on net.
