SAN ANTONIO — Roxy Cruz Santory connected on an early penalty kick and Heather Dawson connected twice as St. Mary's Women's Soccer thumped Oklahoma Christian 4-1 on Thursday evening.

The Rattlers (7-3-2, 5-2-2) led 3-0 to effectively ice the game before the half at Sigma Beta Chi Field, as the teams exchanged goals in the second half.

Whitney Clark also scored in the game for St. Mary's, connecting on her first collegiate goal to give the Rattlers a 3-0 lead in the 44th minute. Rachel Gurinsky, Lauren Mlouhi and Alexi Maldonado had assists on the day.

St. Mary's was outshot 18-13, but made the most of their shots with 10 coming on goal and four finding the back of the net.

Goalie Erin Longford recorded eight saves for the Rattlers to pick up her third victory of the season.

The Rattlers wore pink on the night, celebrating their Pink Game for Cancer Awareness. They will take on Lubbock Christian on Senior Day at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sigma Beta Chi Field.
