Soccer doubleheader vs. St. Edward's rescheduled to Sunday

AUSTIN, Texas — St. Mary's Men's and Women's Soccer will have to wait an extra day to settle the Heartland Conference playoff races.
 
Due to weather that struck the Austin area, Saturday's regular-season-ending doubleheader has been pushed to Sunday. The men will kick off at noon, followed by the women at 2:30 p.m. on the St. Edward's campus.
 
The men (8-7, 4-3) will look to solidify their positioning as the No. 2 seed in next week's Heartland Conference Tournament, which will be hosted by regular-season champion St. Edward's.
 
The women (10-5, 5-2) are also vying for the No. 2 seed, which they can secure with a victory in Sunday's regular-season finale. Dallas Baptist clinched the regular-season title and the right to host the postseason tournament with Thursday's victory over the Rattlers.
