LAREDO, Texas — St. Mary's dropped their final contest in a three-match road trip against Texas A&M International 3-2, Saturday night in Laredo.

Goals from both teams in the first 17 minutes began the proceedings. After StMU managed to regain the one goal edge in the second half, TAMIU (4-7, 2-1) refused to be denied, tacking on the equalizer in the 78th minute and the game winner two minutes later.

Despite being outshot 20-10, the Rattlers (5-6, 1-2) knocked in two goals courtesy of Victor Luna (Sr., Sealy, Texas) and Ignacio Fernandez (Sr., Cordoba, Argentina), which were assisted by Alex Gonzalez (R-Jr., McAllen, Texas) and Juan Sanchez (Jr., San Angelo, Texas).

Saturday night also marked the career start for Tero Elias (Fr., San Antonio) who recorded a match high six saves.

The Rattlers will look to get back on track as they begin their final homestand of the season on Oct. 15 against Rogers State.
