SAN ANTONIO — St. Mary's Women's Tennis dropped a well-contested match to Tarleton State Friday, falling 6-3 at Rohrbach Stadium.
Jamie Lee Denton and
Felicity Delgado held the Rattlers in contention in the upset, scoring in both their singles matches and pairing up in doubles to tally the final point on the day.
Delgado played as the Rattlers' No. 2 while Denton was No. 3 in singles and duo teamed up as No. 1 in doubles.
Recording their third straight loss, the No. 23 Rattlers dropped to 9-3 on the season while Tarleton improved to 11-2.
St. Mary's serves back in Heartland Conference play, which it is currently undefeated at 3-0, at 10 a.m. Friday against Newman in Dallas.
