Kelly Krivulka joined the St. Mary’s University Athletics staff in August 2022 and serves as an Athletic Trainer, providing primary coverage for Women’s Soccer, Men’s Basketball, and Baseball, with previous primary sport coverage of women’s basketball and softball. Kelly also assists with coverage for Esports, Golf, Volleyball, STUNT, Cheer and Dance.
Along with providing comprehensive sports medicine care, Krivulka also plays an important role in the education and development of future athletic trainers, serving as a preceptor for students in athletic training programs at the University of the Incarnate Word, Texas Lutheran University and Sterling College. She also mentors St. Mary’s Exercise Science interns and work-study students.
Prior to joining the Rattlers, Krivulka spent the 2021-22 academic year as an Athletic Trainer at McMurry University, where she provided coverage for Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Tennis and Softball. She also served as a preceptor for Abilene Christian University’s Master of Science in Athletic Training program.
From 2019-21, Krivulka was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Xavier College Preparatory, gaining experience working with a variety of sports and competition levels while assisting with injury rehabilitation, concussion assessment and sports medicine care.
Krivulka’s clinical experience includes working with the UCLA football program, Long Beach State Men’s Volleyball, St. John Bosco High School football, El Camino College and Santa Barbara City College. She was courtside as the Long Beach Men’s Volleyball team captured the National Championship
She holds a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Long Beach State in 2018 and a master’s degree from Still University in 2021.
