Heartland Conference Setter of the Week (9/16/13)
2015 (Junior): Once again was a steady contributor as the primary setter in her third season, starting in 10 of her 28 appearances ... Collected a team high 389 assists as she averaged 4.63 assists per set ... Posted 157 digs which was fourth best on the team ... On the President's list of the Heartland Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.
2014 (Sophomore): Again saw big success as the Rattlers’ primary setter, starting 22 of her 23 matches played … Led the team with 535 assists while recording six service aces and 145 digs … Had a season-high 38 assists against Texas Woman’s (9/26) and recorded 16 matches with more than 20 assists.
2013 (Freshman): Found huge success in her first season of collegiate play, becoming the Rattlers’ go-to setter to earn one Heartland Conference Setter of the Week award … Played in all of the 105-set season, starting 25 of her 29 matches played … Recorded a team-high 667 assists for 6.35 assists per set … Also tallied 199 digs, 12 kills and 12 service aces … Had a career-high 54 assists against Texas A&M-Kingsville which earned her the Player of the Week award … Recorded 30 or more assists in five matches and had only one match where she did not record assists in double figures.
High School: Starred on the court for head coach Jolene Vinson, helping her team to become Regional Finalists her freshman and sophomore seasons … Honored as All-District First Team her junior and senior seasons and Second Team her sophomore year for her work as setter … Excelled in the classroom to earned three Academic All-District selections … Was a member of the National Honor Society and the A-honor roll … Was an AP Scholar, finishing in the top 10 percent of her class.
Club: Played one year for Dallas Summit, three years for Dallas Premier (14's, 15's and 18's) and two years for MADFROG Volleyball Club (16's and 17's) ... Won 15's and 18's regionals with Dallas Premier ... At MADFROG, finished fourth at 16's nationals and won 17's regionals, earning top-10 regional ranking throughout both years.
