Frances King begins her second season as a graduate assistant coach in Women's Basketball for the 2025-26 season after completing a successful playing career in the Lone Star Conference.
In her first season as a graduate assistant, King helped the Rattlers post a 14-14 record and 10-12 in the Lone Star, the second-most wins ever in LSC Conference play for St. Mary's.
King played her final two years at UT Tyler and spent her first three at LSC foe, Midwestern State. In 61 games with the Patriots, King averaged 6.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steals per game. For her career, King scored 1,075 points, grabbed 415 rebounds, had 430 assists and 171 steals. She scored a career-best 25 points against Texas Wesleyan in 2021 with the Mustangs, and twice in her career recorded 10 rebounds. Against the Rattlers in 2022, the guard amassed 16 assists.
