Was a three-time All-District selection for Darlene Washington at Randle HS… Twice was a member of the “A” Honor Roll… Ranked in the top 20 of her graduating class of over 400 people… Helped Randle advance to the Area finals after winning the Bi-District title over Waltrip… Had a .543 slugging percentage as a senior.

Comes from an athletic family as her father, Michael, played football at Rice, while her cousin, Marcus Washington, played football at Mississippi State, and her cousins, Danielle Smith (Texas Southern) and Jonesha Smith (Alabama State) both played collegiate softball.
