Ericka Gomez will serve as a graduate assistant coach for the 2025 season after hanging up her cleats following the 2024 campaign.

Gomez was a two-time First-Team All-Lone Star Conference selection for the Rattlers. She led the team with a .360 batting average in 2024, recording a team-best 62 hits. She ranked as one of the hardest hitters to strike out her final two years, getting fanned only 15 times in 322 at bats. As a senior, Gomez also led the Lone Star Conference and ranked 15th nationally with 0.26 sacrifice bunts per game.

For her career, Gomez struck out only 31 times with only six looking in 443 at bats, and was a staple in the middle infield, playing both short stop and second base for the Gold and Blue.
