Career Honors:
ITA Scholar-Athlete (2012-13, 2013-14)

2015-2016 (Senior): Appeared in 10 matches during his final season as a Rattler, posting a pair of victories in singles play, including one in dual competition ... Named to the President's list of the Heartland Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll.

2014-2015 (Junior): Posted a winning singles record, going 11-8 overall and 7-5 in dual singles play … In doubles, went 4-4 overall and 4-1 in dual doubles play that included going 2-0 against Heartland Conference opponents.   

2013-2014 (Sophomore): Saw increased action in his second season, going 7-0 overall in singles play and 2-2 in doubles. 

2012-2013 (Freshman):  Won all of his matches played in his first season, going 3-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles.   

High School: Excelled under head coach Barton, becoming team MVP three times ... Earned third place in TAPPS State twice and was first in regionals and third in state with his team ... Was also a member of the Honor Roll. 

Personal: Parents are James and Betty ... Has two siblings, Matthew and Christy ... Majoring in engineering ... Born in Oaxaca, Mexico.
