High School: Was a two-year letterman under head coach Cristobal Martinez … Named 25-5A Honorable Mention All-District as a junior and Second Team All-District as a senior … Went deep into postseason play with his team as an area finalist as a junior and bi-district finalist as a senior … Also lettered in football, advancing to the quarterfinals as a senior … Was also a member of the National Honor Society.
