Deni Cresto

As Deni Cresto enters his third season as an assistant coach for St. Mary's Men's Soccer for the 2025 season, he splits his time at the University as the assistant Sports Performance coach.

Cresto assists Johnny Clifford in all aspects of the game, working on recruiting, scouting, travel, and game planning.

Cresto, a five-year letterwinner, All-Region, All-Conference, Scholar-Athlete award winner moved to the sidelines for the 2023 season. In addition to his efforts on the pitch and in the classroom, Cresto was also a recipient of the Marianist Student Leadership Award, one of the most prestigious awards given at St. Mary’s University. He is only the second student-athlete in school history to earn the honor.
  
Cresto led the team in scoring in 2022 and was honored on the All-South Central Region First-Team by both the D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches Association after earning First-Team All-Conference honors by the Lone Star Conference coaches. 

Cresto and his wife, Juliana Damico Cresto, were married this summer in Brazil. She is working towards her master's degree in accounting from UIW and is a graduate assistant for the artistic swim team. Damico Cresto was a member of the 2016 Brazilian Artistic Swimming Olympic team.
