Connor McCarthy

Connor McCarthy set the standard of excellence bar high in his first season as the St. Mary's Director of Golf, leading the women's team to the finals of the NCAA National Championship, where the team lost in a playoff hole. In 2024-25, McCarthy looks to carry over that momentum in year two.
McCarthy was named the fourth director of golf on Aug. 7, 2023 after spending two seasons as the head men's and women's golf coach at Shorter University. In 2023, both teams ended the year ranked in the top 55 with appearances in the NCAA Regionals.
