2014 (Junior): Remained a star player and a program highlight in her third season, setting the program’s career record for doubles at 61 after smacking 19 in her junior season … Had an impressive .393 batting average as the Rattlers’ leadoff, totaling a team-high 58 runs scored and a team-high 118 total bases … Smacked four home runs and two triples along with her team-high 19 doubles for 38 RBIs … Had a stout .559 slugging percentage and .471 on-base percentage, totaling one sac fly, three sacrifice hits with two stolen bases on two attempts … At third base, had 53 putouts with 178 assists and seven errors for a .971 fielding percentage … Struck out just 13 times in a team-high 211 at-bats … Her play earned her third straight All-Conference First Team selection and All-Tournament selection as well as her second straight NFCA All-Region Second Team selection … Was one of four Rattlers to start all of the 64-game season, marking her third straight season starting all of the season’s games (177) … Had an astounding 17-game hitting streak during the season and had 28 multiple-hit games.
2013 (Sophomore): In just her second season with the Rattlers, has quickly made her way into the program’s history, breaking the single-season doubles record after smacking 25 on the season, placing her sixth for career doubles at 42 … Her 25 doubles made her No. 7 in the nation for doubles per game at .42 ... Currently third in career batting average at .408 as she hit .444 as a sophomore, tying for third in single-season batting average ... Her .444 at the plate led the Rattlers as well as the Heartland Conference ... Now owns the record for single-season on base percentage at .515 and placed third after recording a conference-high 87 hits … As the squad’s third baseman, placed third for single-season assists with 171, moving her into third place in career assists with 325 … Her spectacular season as the Rattlers’ leadoff earned her NFCA All-Region Second Team as well as the Heartland Conference Player of the Year, St. Mary’s first since the 2009 season … Had a team-high 123 total bases, seventh for single-season total bases ... Repeated her dominance as in her freshman year, making All-Conference First Team and All-Tournament Team for the second straight season as well as earned a spot on the Southeastern Regional Invitational All-Tournament Team … Started all of the 60-game season, recording 32 RBIs, 58 runs scored and three home runs … Swung for a .628 slugging percentage, striking out just 13 times in 196 at-bats … Also recorded three stolen bases, seven sacrifice hits and a .953 fielding percentage.
2012 (Freshman): Had a sensational first season for the Rattlers, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team and All-Conference First Team … Was one of only two Rattlers to play in and start all the 53-game season … Tied for the team-best batting average at .363 and led in doubles with 17 and was the only player to break double-digits for doubles … Also tallied two homeruns for 24 RBIs … Totaled 37 runs and 57 hits, both the second-best on the team … Struck out just five times in a team-high 157 at-bats … Led the team in sacrifice hits with 14 and went 2-3 in stolen base attempts … As the Rattlers’ third basemen, had a team-high 154 assists and had 54 putouts for a .924 fielding percentage.
High School: Had extensive and great success as a two-sport letterman in basketball and softball for head coach Cindy Rubio, earning Honorable Mention All District and All County for softball her freshman year ... Saw more success her sophomore year, making First Team All District and Second Team All County in basketball, becoming the Area Champions, District Runner-Up and Regional Runner-Up with her team ... On the softball field that same year, she was selected First Team All County and 2nd Team All District, earning the District Championship, Area Championship, Regional Championship and State Runner-Up with her teammates ... Experienced even more success as a junior on the softball field, earning First Team across the board for All District, All County and All State ... Again saw the District and Area Championship as well as Regional Runner-Up that same year ... Of course her atheltic stature wasn't limited to one sport, she earned Second Team All District, First Team All County, Academic All District as well as saw another District Championship and Area Runner-Up on the basketball court ... She focused her atheltic growth soley on softball her senior year and not without her usual achievements, winning the 23-4A Co-Offensive Player of the Year and the Ladycat Heart Award ... She didn't stop there, also earning the Ladycat Co-MVP award, All Academic and was selected First Team All State ... Also in her senior year, saw the District and Area Championship once more, as well as the Regional Runner-Up.
Personal: Parents are Mike and Liz Sardelich ... Has one sister, Krissy, who plays softball at Texas A&M International ... Majoring in excerise and sports science.
