Zach Diaz begins his first season on the St. Mary’s University Baseball staff in 2026. He will handle the pitching coaching duties for the Rattlers.
Diaz returns to the sport he loves after spending two years working at a law firm in Louisiana for two years. He graduated from McNeese State in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, helping the Cowboys to two Southland Conference championships. Diaz began his collegiate career at Paris Junior College and played his sophomore season with Coach Kellner at Temple.
While working in Louisiana, Diaz also coached with Champion Baseball, one of the oldest and largest baseball programs in Southwest Louisiana.
