2015 (Temple Junior College):

2014 (Freshman):  Had a strong season in his first year of collegiate play, making 11 appearances with two starts … Tossed 32 1/3 innings with 29 strikeouts with a 5.01 ERA … Picked up three wins on the season for a 3-0 record … Was tremendous in the postseason, recording his first career complete-game shutout in the Heartland Conference Tournament with a career-high 12 strikeouts … Recorded a .275 opponent batting average. 

High School: Was a multiple-sport standout, earning three letters in basketball, baseball and football, and two letters in track under head coach Wayne Walker … On the baseball diamond, earned Honorable Mention for pitcher and centerfield his sophomore and junior seasons … Off the field, was an Academic All-District selection as a senior ... In basketball, earned All-Area First Team as a junior, All-Area Second Team as a senior and Offensive Player of the Year in his final season … Earned Newcomer of the Year and All-Area First Team for football as a sophomore … Named All-District and All-Area Second Teams as a junior … Had a stellar senior season for football, earning All-Area Player of the Year, All-District First Team, Super Team Return Specialist Second Team and MVP Special Teams … Set the school record for recording 200 yards in a single game as wide receiver … In track, ran anchor for 4x200 in District meet to advance to the Area meet.
 
Personal: Parents are Sheldon Miles and Shantill Vann … Grandfather Cleveland Vann played football at Oklahoma State and went on to play in the NFL for the Miami Dolphins and also played in the WFL for the California Suns and Saskatchewan Roughriders … Majoring in accounting.
