2014 (Senior):  Finished his Rattler career as one of the better pitchers in the program’s history … Was named NCBWA All-American Honorable Mention, becoming the fifth player in the program’s history to be named an All-American twice in their career … Also named ABCA All-Region First Team, Daktronics All-Region First Team and was named All-Conference First Team for the third straight season … Picked up two Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week awards and one South Central Region Pitcher of the Week award … Led the pitching staff with an 11-4 record and team-best 2.93 ERA … Tossed a team-high 107 2/3 innings with 93 strikeouts … Recorded 12 complete games and two shutouts over 15 starts in 16 appearances … Had a .222 opponent batting average and recorded a season-high 12 strikeouts against UAFS (3/14) … Was also a star academically, becoming the third player in program history to be named a CoSIDA Academic All-American … Also named CoSIDA Academic All-District, was named to the Tino Martinez Watch List and was a finalist in the 2014 TD Ameritrade Home Run Derby Fan’s Choice Award. 

2013 (Junior): Remained dominant to earn Daktronics All-Region Second Team and All-Conference First Team for the second straight season … Remains the marker for St. Mary's best career ERA as he is still No. 1 at 2.07 after three seasons (226.1 innings) ... The southpaw is also No. 1 in career records for fewest walks allowed/9 inning game with 2.35 and is 10th for career wins at 22 ... Also earned a Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week award and named All-Conference Tournament Team for the second straight season … Had a 8-2 win-loss record with a 2.36 ERA … Tossed 91.2 innings with 52 strikeouts, recording four complete games and one shutout in 13 starts … Had a .229 opponent batting average … Named to the 2013 Tino Martinez Award Watch List. 

2012 (Sophomore): Reigned as one of the Rattlers’ star pitchers, hauling in a team-best 1.69 ERA that earned him several honors … The lefty was named to the ABCA  All-South Central Region Second Team, the NCBWA All-South Central Region Second Team, the Daktronics All-American Second Team and the Heartland Conference First Team … Was a finalist for the College Baseball Lineup Tino Martinez Award and was selected to the All-Heartland Conference Tournament Team … Led the pitching staff in strikeouts with 110 and innings pitched with 117.1 for a 13-3 win-loss record … Tossed three shutouts and seven complete games and named the first Heartland Conference Pitcher the Week for the season … Made his way into several categories in the St. Mary’s Record Books, including being ranked 10th for most strikeouts in a single season with 110, fifth for most games started with 16, 10th for lowest opponent batting average at .193, eighth for fewest walks in a nine inning game with 2.38 and third for most wins with 13 … In Career Records, Solis is currently at the top spot for lowest ERA for his two seasons with the Rattlers, holding the No. 1 rank with an ERA of 1.87 (134.6 innings), third in lowest opponent batting average at .208 and second in fewest walks allowed in a nine inning game at 2.81. 

2011 (Freshman): Made 12 apperances as a rookie in his first year with the Ratters that earned him a 3.12 ERA ... Pitched 17.1 innings, striking out 14 batters ... Allowed six earned runs and had one win for the season.

High School: He led Stevens HS to the playoffs three times under coach Preston Rogers, including winning their district in 2008. ... Was named all-district and all-area in 2008 and 2009.

Personal: Parents are Dianna and Ed Solis. ... Has two siblings, Nicole and Deanna. ... Majoring in exercise and sports science. ... Father, Ed, played baseball at David Lipscomb University.
