SAN ANTONIO — Year four for the St. Mary's University STUNT team features several new opponents, and the addition of a home tournament, Head Coach
Jordan VanTimmeren announced on Wednesday.
The Rattler Invitational will take place on Feb. 28 and Mar. 1 and welcomes teams from Kentucky, Quincy, St. Edward's, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Texas Woman's and UC Davis to Bill Greehey for the two days. St. Mary's will honor its seniors at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, before the game against LSC rival TWU.
St. Mary's opens the 2026 slate at the Bluegrass Classic, hosted by Kentucky on Feb. 1-2. The Rattlers will take on teams from Alma, Northern Kentucky, Purdue Northwest and Mercyhurst, three of which are first-time opponents. A season ago, the Rattlers defeated Purdue Northwest, 19-3.
The Rattlers head from the East Coast to the West Coast for the Hope International Tournament on Feb. 6-7, where they'll face Trevecca Nazarene, host Hope International, Concordia-Irvine and Cal Baptist.
After the Rattler Invitational, StMU heads up I-35 for the St. Edward's Tournament, where three of the four matches will be Lone Star Conference bouts, as they take on DBU twice, St. Ed's and first-time opponent Ashland on Mar. 6-7.
On March 13 the Rattlers wrap up the regular season with games against McNeese State and Texas A&M-Kingsville in Kingsville.
The third-annual LSC Tournament will be hosted by the regular season champion on March 27-28, while STUNT Nationals will again be in Nashville April 23-26.
The Rattlers return 19 letterwinners from last season's team that finished second in the Lone Star Conference and advanced to their third-straight National Tournament.
