•   St. Mary's Women's Tennis (#44) is one of three undefeated teams remaining in Lone Star Conference play, entering the week 2-0. Both No. 2 Midwestern State and No. 26 UT-Tyler are also unbeaten in the league. The Lone Star Conference features seven teams ranked in the top 50 in Division II.
•   The Rattlers travel to No. 19 Lubbock Christian on Thursday and face UT Permian Basin on Saturday. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
•   St. Mary's is 3-0 all-time against Lubbock Christian, winning a 5-2 decision a season ago, and the Rattler are 11-0 in the series history with UT Permian Basin, with a 4-0 record in Odessa. This is the second straight season the teams will meet at UTPB.
•   St. Mary's improved to 5-1 in Lone Star Conference openers, after sweeping Western New Mexico on Friday. The lone loss came a season ago against #5 Midwestern State.
•   The Rattlers are 2-0 in Lone Star Conference play for the third time in school history. The team also started 2-0 in 2021, 2022 and 2023 en route to making the NCAA Round of 16 in all three year.
•   Four Rattlers are either 9-1 or 10-1 in singles this spring. Junior Alessia Terlizzi leads the team with a 10-1 mark, while Gia Posito, Stela Sifuentes and Selina Wu are all 9-1. Posito and Wu lead the club with 10-1 marks in doubles play, while four others are all 9-2.
•   Sophomore Selina Wu was named the Lone Star Conference Player of the Week on March 20th, after going unbeaten at No. 1 singles, including a 6-3, 5-7, 6-0 against #24 Ferris State. Wu teamed with Gia Posito for a pair of victories at doubles, including a 6-1 win at line two against Ferris State.
•   Selina Wu is ranked 53rd in the nation in singles action. She is the fifth-highest ranked player in the Lone Star Conference behind Jessica Binzari (#5) and Sofia Giraldo (#24) from Midwestern State, Anastasiia Opolska (#32) from LCU and Natalia Gorzny (#39) from UT Tyler. There are two other players from the league ranked inside the top 75.
•   In the 10 victories this spring for the Rattlers, six different players have won the point that clinched the team victory. Paula Garrote, Janel Ospanova, Alessia Terlizzi and Selina Wu have won that all-important fourth team point twice, while Gia Posito and Stela Sifuentes have done so once.
