•   St. Mary's Women's Tennis faces another tough test this week, hosting a pair of nationally-ranked teams in No. 31 Texas A&M-Kingsville on Friday and No. 33 Angelo State on Saturday. These are the final two home matches for the Rattlers, as the last week of the regular season is on the road at Cameron and No. 3 Midwestern State.
•   After the conclusion of the match against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Friday, the Rattlers will host a free 30-minute clinic for any attendees at the match.
•   The two victories last week against No. 29 UT Tyler and No. 24 DBU helped the Rattlers leap from No. 44 to 27th in the nation in the April 16 ITA Polls, and move into second place in the Lone Star Conference standings. Midwestern State is the lone remaining undefeated team at 7-0.
•   Sophomore Selina Wu slipped seven spots in the national rankings to #38 in singles with her split last week. Wu is 22-7 overall, 12-2 in duals and 5-1 in LSC play this year. She ranks 3rd in the Lone Star Conference behind Jessica Binzari (#4) and Sofia Giraldo (#22) from Midwestern State. Five other players in the league rank inside the top 75.
•   The Rattlers are 9-1 all-time against Texas A&M-Kingsville, with a perfect 5-0 record at home. Last season, StMU survived a late push by the Javelinas to win 4-3 in Kingsville. Stela Sifuentes clinched the team victory with her win at #5 singles.
•   St. Mary's also holds a 5-2 record against Angelo State in the series, with an unblemished 3-0 mark at home. The Rattlers dropped a close 4-3 decision in San Angelo a season ago.
•   Junior Alessia Terlizzi is the only Rattler to still be undefeated in both singles and doubles in Lone Star Conference play. She has won all six matches at #3 singles and she and partner Paula Garrote are 6-0 at #3 doubles. Terlizzi has won 10 straight in singles action, while she and Garrote have won seven consecutive in doubles.
•   Junior Stela Sifuentes added two more wins to her singles total, bringing her career total 46, ranking her eighth on the career singles victories charts. Next on the list in seventh is Jamie Lee Denton, who was 54-21 from 2013-16.
•   In the 13 victories this spring for the Rattlers, six different players have won the point that clinched the team victory. Paula Garrote and Alessia Terlizzi lead the team with three, while Janel Ospanova, Stela Sifuentes and Selina Wu have won that all-important fourth team point twice, and Gia Posito has done so once.
