RICHARDSON, Texas — In the final week before the Lone Star Conference Championship, St. Mary's University junior
M'Lynn Griego has been named the LSC Stunter of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Griego helped St. Mary's to a 1-3 week in California against a trio of nationally-ranked opponents, earning 36 total points and Tumbler of the Game twice. The Jourdanton, Texas native helped the Rattlers to a win in routine seven against No. 7 Concordia-Irvine in the third quarter, after tying that same routine against undefeated Hope International the night before.
Griego is the second athlete to earn STUNT Athlete of the Week honors this season for the Rattlers, joining
Guiliana Devora. It is also the second career award for Griego, as she earned Stunter of the Week on Feb. 27, 2024 after the Rattlers won their first-ever LSC game against TWU.
Griego, Devora, and the rest of the Rattlers will compete in the Lone Star Championship March 28-29 on the DBU campus.
