SAN ANGELO, Texas – Despite a career-high nine saves by St. Mary's University goalkeeper

Angelo State (5-2-3, 4-1-2) jumped out to the early 1-0 lead, scoring in the third minute on a goal by Abby St. James that found the bottom right of the goal off a feed from Hannah Carrier. The Rambelles added a penalty kick goal in the 66th minute by Sanai Stewart for the 2-0 victory.
The Rattlers (5-5-1, 4-4-0) had more chances at set pieces, taking six corners, compared to four for the Rambelles, but StMU was called for offsides three times on the day.
