"It's disappointing that we didn't meet our team goals and have a stronger finish to the season," said Director of Tennis
Bill Macom. "But we have our entire lineup returning, so I feel confident we'll be better prepared for next season."

The Patriots (20-6) jumped out to the early lead by winning the doubles point, which is even more crucial with the clinch scoring. The two nationally-ranked teams on court number one were locked in a fierce 5-5 battle when the point was won at line two.Â
Â
The lone point for the Rattlers (13-8) came from freshman
Selina Wu, ranked 14th in the nation and named the Freshman of the Year in the Lone Star Conference on Wednesday. She won 6-1, 6-3 at number one singles.
Â
Junior
Karen Kondo (Tokyo, Japan) was on the brink of winning on court three, as she was up 5-0 in the third and deciding set. She dropped the first set 6-2, but bounced back to win set two, 6-4.
Â
The Rattlers say goodbye to three seniors in
Bailey Godwin,
Elena Munoz and
Kyndall Quiroz, with the conclusion of the 2023-24 season. The trio was all plagued their final campaign with injuries and did not make the trip to Arlington.
