TYLER, Texas — One rough inning for the St. Mary's University Softball team ended in a 10-0 loss at #4 UT Tyler on Wednesday afternoon.

The Rattlers (29-22, 24-15 Lone Star Conference) had only allowed one run on four hits through the first five innings, but the potent Patriots (43-7, 34-5 Lone Star) scored nine runs on eight hits with one StMU error in the sixth inning to run-rule the Rattlers.

Lauryn Ramos (Marion, Texas) was a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate, while senior
Reba Reyes (Brownsville, Texas) was 2-for-3 with a double. Sophomore
Raegan Tennill (Corpus Christi, Texas) and senior
Mackenzie Dugi (St. Hedwig, Texas) each tallied one hit and Dugi added a stolen base.

Madeline Bloom (Poway, Calif.) took the loss and fell to 5-7 on the year. She allowed three runs on six hits with two walks and two strikeouts. Both
