ODESSA, Texas – It was a true team effort for the St. Mary's University Volleyball team on Thursday evening against the University of Southwest as they won 25-7, 25-10, 25-11.

All 19 Rattlers (3-2) played in at least one set and five different players served at least one service ace led by senior
Aislan Lennon (Houston) and sophomore
Alyssa Koehl (New Braunfels, Texas) with four each. All four of Lennon's aces came in the final set as she served four aces in the final six points.

St. Mary's hit a season-best .333 (34-11-69) on the evening with sophomore outside hitter
Landri Withers (Stephenville, Texas) getting a team-best six kills and she hit .455 (6-1-11). Both sophomore
Alyssa David (Pilot Point, Texas) and freshman
Kelly Swyers (Austin, Texas) added four kills.

Koehl also was the only player to record double-digit digs, notching 11, and freshman
Madi Milligan (San Antonio) led the team with two blocks. Freshman
Haleigh Wilk (Salado, Texas) tallied eight assists to lead the team and 11 different players were credited with an assist.

The Rattlers don't get much time to rest, as they continue at the Iceman Invitational on Friday at 11 a.m. against Minnesota-Crookston. Due to some technical difficulties at UT Permian Basin there will be NO video streaming for the entire tournament.
