SAN ANTONIO – The comeback by the #16 St. Mary's University Men's Soccer team fell short against fifth-ranked Midwestern State University on Wednesday night at Sigma Beta Chi Field as the Rattlers fell 2-1.

The nation's leading scorer, Mere' Escobar, scored the game-winning goal in the 68th minute to move the Mustangs to 6-0-1 on the season. The contest was a non-conference affair between the teams.
