KINGSVILLE, Texas – The St. Mary's Baseball team was unable to climb out of a big hole early, falling 12-4 at Texas A&M-Kingsville on Sunday in the series finale.

The Rattlers (16-18, 14-18 Lone Star) posted a crooked inning with four runs in the eighth but were fighting back from a 9-0 hole after the Javelinas (22-16, 21-15 Lone Star) plated four in the first, one in the second and two each in the fourth and sixth. TAMUK also answered with three in the eighth for the 12-4 final.
