Â
Junior
Mackenzie Dugi (St. Hedwig, Texas) again got the Rattlers going right away, doubling to left center from the leadoff spot. With one out, freshman
Raegan Tennill (Corpus Christi, Texas) walked and Holder advanced both one bag on a groundout. Sophomore
Lauryn Ramos (Marion, Texas) and Garcia walked back-to-back to push across the first run of the day and give the Rattlers a 1-0 lead.
Â
Junior
Reba Reyes (Brownsville, Texas) singled between the short stop and third baseman to lead off the fifth and was sacrificed to second by Tennill. Holder singled to centerfield for the RBI but was thrown out trying to stretch the single to a double.Â
Â
Cavazos becomes the 13th player in St. Mary's history to throw a no hitter and it is the 30th solo no hitter in the storied Rattlers history. There are also two combined no-hitters.
